Required Track Courses:

DRR-9004 – Advanced Apologetics
This course brings together the most popular and heart-stirring presentations in defense of Christianity.  It is designed not only for the pastor, but anyone who feels a need to know more about Christ and His ways and the desire to see His humanity.

DRR-9014 – A Study of the Church Fathers
A clearly written text ushers in an accessible introduction to ten church fathers who shaped the way we worship and read the Bible today.

DRR-9024 – Self-Directed Research Study
Student’s choice of reference materials and subject – must be approved.

DRR-9034 – Christian Philosophy I
This course includes a lively and thorough introduction to philosophy from a Christian perspective and introduces the student to the principal sub disciplines of philosophy, including the triune God, the attributes of god, the god of truth and arguments for the existence of God.

DRR-9044 – Christian Philosophy II
The second course in this series, it also offers a lively and accessible introduction and a wealth of insight into the history of Christian thought and the colorful personalities who gave it shape and form.  Among others, it discusses Augustine, Aquinas and Luther.

Student’s choice of reference materials.

Student’s choice of reference materials and subject – must be approved.

DRR-90164 – Major Field Reading
Student chooses and reads two books (not less than 200 pages each) that coincide with your major field. He/she then must submit the title, author and ISBN to FBCS. Work cannot be started until approval is given.

DRR-90174 – Assigned Research – The History and Development of the Bible
Student’s choice of reference materials.

DRR-90184 – Major Field Reading
Student chooses and reads four books (not less than 200 pages each) that coincide with their major field of research.  He/she then must submit the title, author and ISBN to FBCS for approval.

DRR-90194 – Assigned Research – Non-Canonical Books
Student’s choice of reference materials.

DRR-90204 – Major Field Reading
Student chooses and reads two books (not less than 200 pages each) that coincide with their major field of research.  He/she then must submit the title, author and ISBN to FBCS for approval.
